VetRock 2026 – Honoring Those Who Served

This year marks the 7th annual VetRock concert, hosted by Crown Point First United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 28, 2026. It's a night dedicated to our veterans, active duty service members, and their families — and they're doing it with rock music.

If you've been following LifeRock316's warrior of God series, you know we've been diving into what it means to put on God's full armor from Ephesians 6. And here's the thing — our veterans have worn literal armor for us. They've stood in the gap, faced the fire, and carried burdens most of us will never understand.

VetRock is a chance to say thank you. But more than that, it's a chance to come alongside our brothers and sisters who've served and let them know they're not forgotten. The church is partnering with local organizations to provide resources and support for veterans' needs — mental health, housing, and community.

John 15:13 says, "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." Our veterans live that out every day. VetRock is about honoring that sacrifice and pointing them to the One who laid down His life for all of us.

The event is free and open to the public. Live music, fellowship, and a chance to connect with other veterans and supporters. LifeRock316 will be there too — and we'd love to see you there.
