Random Hero is an American rock band from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2005. The band, currently consisting of Aaron Watkins (vocals) and Rob “Los” McDonough (bass), is known for its energetic live shows and a clear message of hope rooted in faith.
They've achieved significant success, including a #1 Christian Rock single with "Tension" for eight weeks straight, two Top 25 Billboard Mainstream Rock singles, and six Top 5 Billboard Christian rock singles. Random Hero has worked with notable musicians like Kellen McGregor (Memphis May Fire), Josiah Prince (Disciple), and Ben Kasica (Skillet). They've also been featured on MTV's "Made," the Vans Warped Tour, and Christian music's City Rock Fest Tour.
In 2013, Random Hero signed with Redcord Records/Sony Music and released "Oceans Of Change," which included multiple Top 5 Billboard hits like "Not Alone" and "Burn Up The Night." Their 2019 album, "Tension," released through Rockfest Records/Capitol/Universal Music Group, charted on several Billboard charts, including #13 on Christian Album Sales and #21 on Heatseekers. The band continues to tour nationally and internationally, bringing their message of hope and healing to audiences.
